With 25+ years in and around the adult entertainment industry, Annie Temple has done it all. She started as a stripper in 1997 and she left adult entertainment and returned to it, time and time again. Her exploits include stripping, nude modeling, being a content creator, and more. Annie is a best-selling author of “Annie Temple’s Business Bible for Erotic Entrepreneurs” and currently works as an Intimacy Specialist and Coach. She is passionate about helping people feel more connected and purposeful. Annie’s memoir, “How Sex Work Shaped My Life,” comes out in October 2024.
Annie’s winning project is to implement a virtual book tour, hosting a series of workshops based on her book “Annie Temple’s Business Bible for Erotic Entrepreneurs.” Workshops have three themes: Safety, Self-Care, and Marketing. Participants receive complimentary checklists and engage in exercises to develop their own business strategies and tactics. Currently, Annie is in the preparation phase of the project.
River Wilde (formerly River Campbell), is an Ottawa-based activist and sex worker in her mid 30s, with nearly a decade of experience in the industry.
River describes herself as, “A curvy companion with a zest for life, deeply passionate about nature and the great outdoors. I love connecting with people and believe in the beauty of forming genuine connections. With a spiritual side and a playful spirit, I approach life with curiosity and joy, always seeking to explore new experiences and share moments of laughter and meaningful conversation.”
River plans to use the grant to become a licensed reflexologist. This will enable her to offer sex work-focused workshops and reduced-cost sessions for at-risk groups.
River shares, “I am thrilled to have been awarded the PDFund grant to support my reflexology program! This generous funding will enable me to enhance my offerings and provide even more individuals with the benefits of reflexology. By integrating this ancient healing practice, I aim to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall wellness in our community. With the help of the PDFund grant, I am excited to expand my program, offering workshops and sessions that will empower participants to harness the healing power of reflexology for better health and well-being. Thank you to PDFund for believing in the potential of this initiative! The program begins in September 2024 and I am excited to provide updates of my progress as I integrate this career into my life as a companion.”
